Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026
This policy explains what information Kink Test (“we”, “us”) at https://newkinktest.com does and does not collect, how it is used and what choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
In short: the quiz runs in your browser and your answers are not sent to us. We do not run advertising or analytics trackers. We only receive personal information if you choose to email us.
1. The quiz collects nothing
The questions, scoring and your result are processed entirely in your browser using JavaScript on your own device. Your answers, scores and result archetype are not transmitted to our server, not stored in a database and not shared with anyone. Closing or refreshing the page clears them.
2. Information we receive automatically
Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information whenever a page is requested, such as IP address, browser type, device type, the pages requested and the date and time. This is used for security, abuse prevention and keeping the site running. We do not use it to identify you or to link it to anything you do in the quiz.
3. Information you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to read and reply to you and, where relevant, to correct or improve the site. We do not sell it, rent it or add it to a mailing list without your explicit agreement. Please do not send sensitive personal details.
4. Cookies
We do not set cookies for advertising, tracking or analytics. WordPress, the software the site runs on, may set cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work, for example for administrators who are logged in. If we add any non-essential cookies in future, we will update this page and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.
5. Third-party services and links
- Fonts. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google’s servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. See Google’s own privacy information for how it handles this.
- Images. Photographs on the blog are stored on our own server. Credits to the photographers appear under the images.
- External links. Articles link to research and organizations. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them.
- Hosting. The site is hosted by Hostinger, which processes the server logs described above on our behalf.
6. How long we keep information
Server logs are kept by our host for the period set in its own policies. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to deal with your message and for a reasonable period afterward in case of follow-up, and then deleted.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict certain uses and to complain to your local data protection authority. Because we hold almost no personal information, in most cases the answer will be that we hold only the email you sent us. To make a request, email contact@newkinktest.com with the subject line “Privacy request”.
8. Children
This site is for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but because we collect so little, there is very little to expose.
10. Changes to this policy
If our practices change, for example if we add analytics or a newsletter, we will update this page and change the date above before the change takes effect.
11. Contact
